Pricing depends on the type and extent of work required. A basic monthly service is very different to a full restoration or lithium battery conversion. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all pricing — get in touch for an honest, no-obligation quote based on exactly what your cart needs.
Yes — we work on both electric and petrol/gas golf carts across all major brands including Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, and others. Our certified electrician background means we're particularly strong on electrical systems and battery management.
A lithium conversion replaces your old lead-acid batteries with a modern lithium battery pack. Lithium batteries are significantly lighter, charge faster, last longer (often 8–10 years vs 3–5), and provide more consistent power throughout the charge cycle. We handle the full conversion including battery installation, charger upgrade, and any wiring adjustments needed.
Both options are available. We offer a fully mobile service across all of Otago — we'll come to your home, golf club, or property with everything we need. Alternatively, you can bring your cart to our Cromwell workshop, or we can arrange pickup and delivery using our golf cart trailer.
Turnaround time depends on the job. A routine service can often be completed the same day, while more complex repairs, restorations, or custom builds take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when you enquire — and keep you updated throughout.
Very often, yes. We specialise in bringing non-running carts back to life. Even carts that have been sitting for years can frequently be restored. Give us the details — make, model, known history — and we'll let you know honestly whether restoration makes sense for your situation.
We recommend a thorough service at least every six months for regular-use carts — this covers batteries, brakes, tyres, electrics, and all moving parts. For heavy-use carts (e.g. daily commercial or club use), a monthly check-up helps catch small issues before they become expensive ones. We offer both monthly and 6-monthly servicing packages.
New parts we supply come with the manufacturer's standard warranty. Ask us about specific parts when you enquire and we can advise on warranty coverage for your situation.
We accept internet banking and cash. We'll send you full bank account details when your job is confirmed. Payment is typically required on completion unless otherwise arranged.
Yes. If you're confident fitting parts yourself and just need the right components, we can supply parts only. We stock or can source a wide range of parts for most common golf cart makes and models. Contact us with your cart details and what you need.
